Nyree was born in Panama City, Republic of Panama, in August 1977. She began her studies with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Panama. She later completed a Master's in Environmental Systems with a specialization in Natural Resource Management. She has a diploma in Professional Development in Fundraising, Teacher Knowledge Test Certification (TKT) from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Degree in Senior Management from the University of Panama.
She is passionate about her work, as it aligns with her love of learning and facing new challenges, as well as her commitment to the conservation and sustainable management of natural resources. In her free time, she enjoys spending time/conversations with her family, walking, dancing, listening to music and audiobooks, traveling, catching up on various topics of interest, and watching series/movies.
Through the search for and obtaining of scholarships by preparing technical proposals and monitoring funded projects, she contributes to obtaining economic resources for the conservation of natural resources and their environmental services, in addition to strengthening relationships with partners and donors. She also generates documents such as protocols and presentations, supporting the administrative and logistical aspects of the organization.
